HARPPP3 – branch prediction
Saturday July 11, 2015 – Huntsville
A third iteration of the HARPPP installation, this time collaborating with Starr. A smaller version of the apparatus was constructed consisting of only two 6 x 6 x 6 units. At the beginning of the event, participants were invited to choose sticks and where they were to be hung from the HARPPP. From there, people were welcomed to play them and the sounds were treated, mixed with other sounds and my own compositions, and recorded in real time. Starr was present throughout, issuing statements from her Shaman’s hut and interacting with the visitors both as a steward and provocateur. Accompanying visuals of finished work and work in progress were projected on the church wall nearby.
