Each building is a different artwork formed from a different ‘algorithm’. I put that in quotes because the algorithm used is not written in code but something that I manifest manually – each of the cubes have been put in place by me, by hand. They are not the result of a computer algorithm and most importantly, they are not the result of the use of random number generators. The ‘randomness’ that these pieces embody are entirely the randomness of my own actions.
Each of these pieces are spontaneously formed open-ended structures that can expand in all directions infinitely (theoretically). The works reside on these web pages and I will be continuously adding to them day by day. They form a kind of journal. Everything that I am thinking and feeling are encoded in these structures as a build them.
