Julie Lassonde/Rob Gill collaborative performance at Back Lane Studios

Sunday, April 28th

3-4pm

I am very excited to announce a collaborative event with highly accomplished improviser, interdisciplinary performance artist, and lawyer Julie Lassonde who is currently living and working out of Toronto, Ontario (see below for bio).

On Sunday April 28th at 3pm we will be performing a collaborative work on the closing day of my show ‘what’ which has been open since April 12th at Back Lane Studios.

Julie’s performance will be in response and juxtaposition to my interactive installation, ‘High Park Branches’, the piece that I produced over the past half year specifically for this show.

See the video below for an example of some of the work that will serve as material for the collaboration.

The event will last approximately an hour and will feature improvised movement/dance/performance interaction incorporated with interspersed discussion.

This is a perfect opportunity to experience the work of one of Toronto’s great performance artists.

Entrance is by donation (recc. $10).

hope to see you there!
