This a project created for an open call in February of 2024 for the Galtway, a walkway in down town Cambridge, Ontario that features nine 5′ x 8′ panels along the walls to feature artworks. This project is a continuation of the High Park Branches project.
The branches were found on February 8th in Victoria Park and Mount View Cemetery which is across the river from the Galtway. I brought the branches into my studio and used Blender to create proportionally accurate replicas as 3D models. I then loaded those models into my interactive software (the same software used in ‘Custom Catastrophe‘) to create the final images.
