The next day I took these photos of the configuration. As you can see, it can very easily be read in terms of the activity that transpired the previous evening. Part of the reason I use the triangle mesh so much, is that it is a precise form that can be easily translated into numbers. It would be easy to translate this mesh into code and I may just do that. This is definitely something I have done before; NBN2014 – HARPPP2 being the best example – the show that some of the material for this show was drawn from, but also NVHT1, NVHT2, and NVHT3, and Bala Falls – these are just a few examples. And this is something that I will continue to explore – the recording of human activity in an actual, physical space using a net. In fact, I am hard at work setting up a service where I provide this as a custom event/installation for clients – please stay tuned for more.
