initial triangulation of the image

This shows the triangulation of the image from NBN2014 (photo by Katherine Fleitas). This is the image that I use as an ‘instrument’ to play samples with using the software I developed, the NB. The samples are taken from the audio material also generated from the NBN2014 show. The photo is of the crystal bowl cermony/performance that took place at beginning and the end of the evenging. Performers are Trixie, Starr, Heron, Mandy, and Alexis. Below that are the colour coding of the programmed triangles – samples, sensors, and rgb. This is to abstract the playback and in the video summaries that you see on the opening page you will see playback of each of these modes.

sample colour coding

Each of the 16 colours correspond to the 16 different sample groups. Note that the distribution of the colours is according to NETTT architecture.

sensor colour coding

Each of the 8 colours correspond to the 8 different sensors. Note that the distribution of the colours is according to NETTT architecture.

rgb colour coding

Each of the triangles are assigned a red, green, or blue colour with a corresponding tone. This is another way of abstracting the playback. Note that the distribution of the colours is according to NETTT architecture.

This is an alternate background image.
