six colour building

Algorithm:

Create vague rooms using six differently coloured cubes: red, blue, green, yellow, black, white. Disperse the colours as evenly as possible by choosing the colour which is least represented locally and by not placing two cubes of the same colour next to each other (diagonally is okay). This also helps to avoid any patterning. This is all done by hand – all choices are made directly by the author (me – but after I get my web app done, you : ) ) and all objects are placed by direct manipulation.

The overall structure is based on the definition of white noise – an infinitely extending patternless field with uniform intensity throughout – equal energy given to all frequencies in the spectrum (bandwidth).

In dreams, rooms are said to represent the different aspects of one’s own mind.1
